Tis the season for travel and we all know that flights being delayed during the holiday season can be frustrating, but where does our own Logan International Airport rank. Price4Limo came out with a list for the most Flight cancellations in America. That being said, Logan still needs some work but isn’t the worst. Here’s a quick peak at the worst airports for cancellations!
Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI)
Baltimore/Washington airport ranked 20 of 20 with 2,915 flight delays
Ft. Lauderdale - Hollywood International Airport
Good ole Florida not the worse airport in the state has but still makes the list at 19 with 2,946 flight cancellations
Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport (PHX)
Beautiful airport but not great when a flight is cancelled which happened 3,105 times
Houston George Bush Airport (HOU)
Houston Airport has cancelled around 3,114 flights
Miami International Airport (MIA)
Another FL Airport to make this list and yet still isn’t the worst the State has. MIA has canceled 3,131 flight
Harry Reid International Airport (LAS)
Las Vegas great for gambling if that’s your thing, but gamble with flights being canceled is a good bet as they’ve canceled 3,372 flights
Los Angles International Airport (LAX)
Beautiful weather, next to the ocean what’s not to love about LA? How about 3,540 flight canceled that doesn’t sound like a Hollywood ending!
Seattle – Tacoma International Airport (SEA)
Rainy weather, but good seafood and coffee, too bad they’ve canceled 3,787 flights
John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK)
New York the big apple, the city that never sleeps, but also has a few airport who love to cancel flights with 4,202
Orlando International Airport (MCO)
If you traveled to Disney then you know how much of a pain this Airport can be and they’ve canceled 4,287 flights
Ronald Regan Washington National Airport (DCA)
Decent president depending on who you ask but in terms of flights canceled 4,546
Hartsfield – Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL)
This is one of the busiest airports in the country and surprised it’s listed not in the top 5, with only 4,658 canceled flights
Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT)
Rather large airport that resides in North Carolina, and they’ve canceled 5,355 flights
Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)
One of the hubs for connection flights and a general pain to navigate they’ve also canceled 6,452
LaGuardia Airport (LGA)
If you know you know! This airport is the worst in the State of New York canceling 6,550 flights
Denver International Airport (DEN)
This airport is shrouded in a mystery don’t believe it just google it. But in the mean time it’s in the top 3 of worse airports for cancelations with 7,209 flights canceled
O’Hare International Airport (ORD)
This airport is a nightmare, especially come wintertime. But you could bet your flight might get canceled as the number 2 spot they’ve canceled 8,330 flights
Dallas Ft Worth International Airport (DFW)
The worst airport for cancelations in all of the Country is these guys it’s not a super huge airport but they take the crown with 10,612 flights
Detroit Metro Airport (DMA) (dishonorable mention)
Detroit not the worst airport as it only has canceled 2,552 flights, but if your flight is cancelled, you’re stuck in Detroit!
Logan Ariport Boston (BOS) (# 11 in cancellations and # 1 in headaches )
Logan ranks as number 11 in flight cancellations right in the middle of the pack with 4,130 flights canceled, but if your flights are cancelled we wish you luck getting out of the tunnels and into a hotel! Cha ching!
