After three months of publicly dating, Lamar Odom has proposed to his girlfriend Sabrina Parr. During the proposal Real Housewives of Atlanta fan favorite, Nene Leakes was present to capture the moment, as Refinery 29 reports.
Back in August, both Odom and Parr made their relationship Instagram-official after being recognized in Atlanta being affectionate.
The former NBA player posted a now-deleted photo of Parr shortly after, where he described her as “my woman” in his caption. However, some fans said that the rest of his caption, which was a quote from Malcolm X, was shade being thrown at Odom’s ex-wife Khloe Kardashian. Odom denied the claims.
Parr is an Atlanta-based entrepreneur who has a detox tea company. Parr had initially admitted that she had no interest in dating Odom due to the drama that surrounded him. However, after spending time with him and Odom’s effort to better his health, Parr decided to oblige.
“[Odom] was never in a position to be someone’s husband. He was sick. He needed to heal. He needed to grieve,” Parr said during a joint interview with Odom . “I knew with my resources and my personality and my attitude, I could help him.”
Leakes who is a close friend of the pair was present for the proposal alongside her husband Gregg.
