The Holidays Unwrapped

You better watch out, you better slow down…

Police in Chester, Vermont have gotten into the holiday spirit, and they’re using it to promote safety on the roads this holiday season.

One of their radar signs in the town has been decked out for Christmas – for drivers obeying the speed limit, they get a green “NICE” signal. If you’re being a lead foot though, you’re warned with a red “NAUGHTY” version of the sign.

“We received a request direct from the North Pole to remind everyone that Santa is still making his list and checking it twice, and to make sure to have a safe and happy holiday season!” police posted on their Facebook page.

While the sign doesn’t give out tickets, there is no confirmation that it doesn’t transmit speeding violations to Santa himself.
