After 25 Seasons, Say Goodbye to Judge Judy
Judge Judy Sheindlin is set to announce the end of her “Judge Judy” show today on the Ellen show. The show will run through its current season and end after its 25th season. Repeats will still air and Judge Judy will be working on a brand new show called “Judy Justice.” Judy was one of the highest paid TV stars making over $47 million a year. According to Judy “Next year will be our 25th season, silver anniversary, and CBS, I think, sort of felt, they wanted to optimally utilize the repeats of my program, because now they have 25 years of reruns. So what they decided to do was to sell a couple of years’ worth of reruns.”
