Candace Owens of Turning Point USA testifies during a House Judiciary Committee hearing discussing hate crimes and the rise of white nationalism on Capitol Hill on April 9, 2019 in Washington, DC. Internet companies have come under fire recently for allowing hate groups on their platforms.

Candace Owens and Cardi B were getting into it last night on Twitter. Owens criticized Cardi’s Grammy performance of “WAP”; she seems to feel that there’s an issue with the song, because (in her words), “Millions of young girls follow you.”

She went on to say, “At your worst, you are naked, shoving your vagina into another woman’s vagina while thrusting atop her. You were at your worst on the Grammy stage. Do better @iamcardib.” Owens often finds herself at odds with pop culture figures, including Harry Styles,  Kanye West, T.I. and N.O.R.E.

Cardi B clapped back with two images that have circulated on social media that imply that Owens caught her husband cheating on her with her brother, and was denied joining in.

Owens claimed the photos were “clearly photoshopped,” adding that “Only one of us has a husband that sleeps around.” Cardi nevertheless showed screenshots from outlets that posted Owens’s November tweet from the time it was trending, which said (perhaps sarcastically) “Yes, my husband did cheat on me with my brother. Yes, he said no when I asked to join them.”

Owens replied back, “You tweeted that the photoshopped tweet was real and you saw it on a day that I was trending—which is a lie,” implying that Cardi was jumping on Owens while she was trending; in effect, accusing Cardi B of chasing Owens’s clout. “You made that part up to help circulate a slanderous lie.”

One of Owens’s followers replied, “Just sue her already.”

To which Owens concluded with: “Yes. Just spoke with my family. I am 100% suing Cardi for that nonsense. You can’t just start throwing out wild lies against private members of my family because you’re upset someone called your out on your degenerate performance.
I‘ll keep you all posted.”

Cardi tells Owens to refer to her as “MOTHER” and to give her proper thanks to “mommy Belcalis.”
