“Ultimate Slip ‘N Slide” Had to Halt Production Due to Explosive Diarrhea
If a TV game show called “Ultimate Slip ‘N Slide” had a kryptonite, it would probably be EXPLOSIVE DIARRHEA.
Well, there IS a show called “Ultimate Slip ‘N Slide” that’s going to debut on NBC in August . . . and production had to shut down indefinitely because of . . . you guessed it.
There was an outbreak on the set of giardia . . . a parasite that causes nasty gastrointestinal issues. A source says that up to 40 crew members fell violently ill. There was a lot of running to port-o-potties, and some people even collapsed.
It doesn’t sound like any pools or slides were soiled. The show only has about a week’s worth of taping left to do, and they’re trying to figure out how to do it.
“Ultimate Slip ‘N Slide” is hosted by comedians Bobby Moynihan and Ron Funches . . . and they didn’t get sick.
