What To Expect At The Revere Beach Sand Sculpture Festival
The Revere Beach Sand Sculpture Festival is the largest free event in Massachusetts. Held over three days, the festival attracts hundreds of thousands of people. Last year’s festival had an estimated 500,000 – 750,000 visitors. This year, the festival is celebrating its 20th year of fun. Here’s everything you need to know.
When Is It? Friday, July 19th – Sunday July 21st.
Hours: Friday 10am – 10pm, Saturday 10am – 10pm, and Sunday 10am – 8pm.

Other things to expect: over 75 food vendors, food trucks, and exhibitors, live music, interactive activities, amusement rides, & fireworks.
Master Sand Sculpting Competition: There will be 15 Master Sand Sculptors from 5 different countries competing for $28,000 in prizes.
How to get there: Revere Beach is accessible from the Blue Line via Wonderland or Revere Beach stops. Free parking and shuttle service to the T will be available at Suffolk Downs. Parking is also available at the Wonderland Garage. DON’T FORGET – The Sumner Tunnel is closed so make sure you plan accordingly.
