SZA Talks New Album Release on Kai Cenat Livestream
SZA recently shared some inside details on when we can expect her new album. Recently, SZA and Lizzo joined forces with Kai Cenat during his livestream.
In 2022, SZA released her sophomore album, SOS, and ever since fans have anticipated when her third album would be released. The singer doesn’t plan to have fans wait much longer, though, for the new album.
New Music On the Way from SZA
During her recent appearance on Kai Cenat’s Livestream, she promised to release the album much sooner than fans are thinking. When asked when her supporters should expect the new music, she replied, “It’ll be out before the year is over.”
That’s right: before the year is over, she says! Now, the question is when? We don’t really have much of the year left, but we are certainly anticipating new music from the singer. The announcement left many shocked, including Cenat and Lizzo (who made an appearance on the livestream alongside her). She’s done this before: on December 3, 2022, she performed on Saturday Night Live and announced that her next album, S.O.S., would be out the following Friday, December 9.
Earlier in the month, SZA spoke with British Vogue about a few different things. From her plastic surgery thoughts to new music, she gave them a little bit of everything.
“I think I am making music from a more beautiful place. From a more possible place versus a more angsty place,” she said to British Vogue. “Piece by piece, my music is shifting because of that, the lighter I get.”
Recently, we saw SZA make an appearance on Kendrick Lamar, latest album as one of the featured artists. A little bit of new music from the singer for the time being. Now, we can all just wait in anticipation for the new album from the singer.
