Michael B. Jordan produces and stars in Just Mercy. Just Mercy is based on the true story of Harvard grad Bryan Stevenson who moves to Alabama to start the Equal Justice Initiative where he represents people on death row. While watching Just Mercy, I had to remind myself to breathe. This movie is tough to watch, heartbreaking, and infuriating. But it’s also an incredible story of one man’s unwavering determination and the support of community. Plus incredible performances from Michael B. Jordan, Jamie Foxx and the rest of the cast. Bring your tissues and go see Just Mercy.

  Octavia Spencer stars in the new Apple TV+ series Truth Be Told. She plays true-crime podcaster Poppy, who discovers new evidence that moves her to reopen the case that made her a nationwide media sensation. I love Octavia so I figured I would give it a chance even though I'm not really into the true-crime thing. I'm now three episodes in and counting. So far I'm really enjoying this series, and if you're looking for something to binge, I would definitely recommend Truth Be Told.
