The Celtics are certainly hoping to continue home games well into June. As of now, there have been nine postseason matchups hosted at the TD Garden this year. Let’s take a look at some of the celebrities we’ve seen sit courtside at these Celtics playoff games.

Athletes

There has been no shortage of hometown support here. New England Revolution head coach, Bruce Arena has been in the building. As for the Patriots, Julian Edelman was present at the 76ers series, as was owner Robert Kraft. Bill Belichick has been in attendance for the game against the Miami Heat. Patriots captain and offensive lineman, David Andrews was there for the same game. In addition, we saw Bailey Zappe on the floor last night. Finally, Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parsons took in the action during game one vs. the Heat as well.

Entertainers

While we have yet to host the “Mayor of Flavortown” Guy Fieri this postseason, like previous years, you bet another restaurateur (and actor, and New Kid On The Block member) Donnie Wahlberg has been in the house cheering on his team in green. Alongside him was his wife, Jenny McCarthy.

The Celtics have also traveled to Atlanta, Philadelphia, and Miami this postseason. Though they were not in Boston, there have been many celebrities watching the Celtics playoff games from a courtside seat in these cities as well.

Meek Mill, Questlove and Michael Rubin caught the games in Philadelphia. Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel was responsible for waving the white flag and pumping up the crowd in Miami. Not to be “hype-man” outdone, DJ Khaled was courtside in Miami as well.

The Celtics are still facing elimination with the series sitting at 3-2 in favor of Miami. If they win tomorrow night on the road, the series comes back to Boston for another game seven. This would be played on Monday night. If that’s the case, it’s a safe assumption that we would see celebrities sitting courtside for that Celtics playoff game as well.

Here, we’ll take a look at some additional big names we seen at the TD Garden during this postseason.

  • Paul Pierce

It seems there’s a little more spirit in the building when “The Truth” is in the house. Paul Pierce was on the court last night for game five. This Celtics legend has often been seen. He’s often highly animated; he’s very invested in his former team getting the win.

  • Dave Portnoy

The “El Presidente” of Barstool Sports has on the TD Garden floor a few times this postseason. He was there last night vs. the Heat and on Mother’s Day.

  • Christopher Mintz-Plasse aka "McLovin"

Yes, that’s McLovin fist pumping behind Jason Tatum. Actor, Christopher Mintz-Plasse is a Boston sports fan and can often be seen at various big events at arenas around town. This includes being front row on the rail when Pearl Jam played Fenway Park.

  • Ludacris

Shortly after stepping off stage opening for Janet Jackson on May 19th, rapper Ludacris made his was to the TD Garden to take in game two vs. the Heat. That’s certainly a well-rounded evening of entertainment.
