I’m used to having over an hour commute to and from work in Massachusetts. Traffic can be brutal and have me yearning for a simpler life sometimes. That simpler life is closer than I thought. Massachusetts has a town with only 26 residents!

Popponesset Island, Massachusetts is an island and census-designated place (CDP) in Mashpee, Massachusetts. It has beautiful ocean views which is enjoyed by only 26 people who inhabit the island. Traffic jams are minimal… and even more minimal is Dunkin’. There are surprisingly zero locations on the island. “Surprising” because this is Massachusetts. I think some Dunkin’ locations here have additional locations inside themselves. I kid.

If you want to be resident #27 of Popponesset Island get ready to dig deeeeeeeeeeeeepppp into your wallet. Those views and all that space ain’t cheap! I looked at a couple listings online and decided that I’ll stick with the commute. Sticker shock got me!!
