Here we go! This Sunday, it’s the first Patriots home game of the football season at GilletteAs always, here’s our bullet point guide to make sure you have a GREAT experience. So, take a look at: Patriots Home Opener: Everything You Need!

How Are We Doin?

This Sunday starts Week 3 of the season. Our Patriots are comin off a win against the Steelers, beating Pittsburg 17-14, last Sunday. We are 1-1, losing the season opener against the Dolphins, 20-7.

Who Are We Playing?

Our home opener Sunday is against the Baltimore Ravens at 1pm. In the stands, you may hear some cheers for the Raven’s. Spencer’s Pat Ricard plays fullback for the Raven’s and must be excited to be back home. Pat is a grad of David Prouty High School in Spencer, where he met his wife, Hayley. The Ravens will be itchin’ for a week three win, as they LOST to the Dolphins last Sunday, 42-38. Our Patriots are comin off a win against the Steelers.

Gillette Stadium

If you haven’t been to Gillette since the Covid days, you’re about to see many changes in the way we attend stadium events. For example, ALL transactions at Gillette are now cashless. Add to that, there are more, new changes to the way you’ll attend the event, regarding your tickets. This guide is a comprehensive list of things you’ll need to know to make sure you have a fun and safe experience at Gillette. Have fun and GO PATS!

So here we go with: Patriots Home Opener: Everything You Need!

  • Acceptable Items/Bag Policy

    I always start with this first, based on experience. I recommend you travel light! As you can see, Gillette has a very specific bag policy on what you can and can’t bring in.

    Only clear plastic bags that comply with the Gillette Stadium Bag Policy are allowed into Gillette Stadium on ALL ticketed event and game days. Compliant bags are defined above. This policy is in effect for all Gillette Stadium ticketed events.

  • Tailgating

    Tailgating in general parking lots may begin when the lots open to general parking unless directed by parking/security or public safety officials. However, open fires are not allowed. All fires must be contained within a suitable and appropriate fire burning device and must be movable in the event of an emergency. “Fire pits” with open flames are not considered movable in the event of an emergency, and therefore are not allowed. All fires and/or grills should not be left unattended. Used charcoal briquettes and/or other burning material must be disposed of properly and not left on the parking surface to burn out.  Click Here for more.

  • Important: ATM-Cash To Card Kiosks

    Bank of America ATMs are located on the concourses behind sections 109, 123,132,141, 309 and 330. Additionally, ATMs are located outside of the ProShop and Ticket Office. At Patriot Place, ATMs are located inside the elevator lobby (on the upper level), by Red Robin in north retail, and next to Christmas Tree Shops in south retail.

    Please note: Gillette Stadium is now a completely cashless stadium. Please feel free to utilize the ATMs, but be aware that only contactless payment options will be accepted within the stadium. Event attendees will be able utilize one of our 8 new Cash-to-Card kiosks to convert cash to Visa® prepaid cards.     Adjacent to Gillette Stadium, Patriot Place features more than 1.3 million square feet of shopping, dining and entertainment.

Take in a state-of-the-art movie-going experience at the fourteen-screen Showcase Cinema De Lux. Or, visit Helix eSports, the official gaming center of the Boston Uprising. The Helix eSports complex will feature over 100 gaming stations for everyday social and competitive play.

  • I Need To Charge My Phone!

    Free mobile phone charging stations are available at Gillette Stadium in the following areas:

    • Main Concourse at Sections 109 and 131
    • Upper Concourse at Sections 309 and 333
    • Putnam East and West Clubs
    • Optum Field Lounge
    • Cross Pavilion
  • Restrooms

    Patriots: All public restrooms are accessible to guests with disabilities. Family restrooms are located on the concourse behind sections 140, 203, 217, 224, 237, 304, 314, 326 and 336. Two family restrooms are also available in both the east and west Putnam Clubs.

  • Security/Text For Help

    Review their Health & Safety page for complete security policy information. If you require security assistance during the event or want to report inappropriate fan behavior, please text your issue and location to 50894. You may also call (800) 280-9529 during the event to report an issue. All texts are monitored in real-time during the event and senders will receive an acknowledgment of their text from the Security Command Center. (Note: message and data rates may apply.)

  • Team Store

    The official Patriots and Revolution team store, the ProShop, is located in the Patriot Place Plaza adjacent to the Gillette Stadium Ticket Office in the northeast corner of the stadium.

  • Electric Car Charging Stations

  • Code Of Conduct

    Gillette Stadium is committed to creating a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience for all guests. Patrons are responsible for their conduct and for the conduct of their guests. Patrons and their guests are prohibited from the following:

    • Exhibiting behavior that is unruly, disruptive, irresponsible or illegal in nature.
    • Using offensive language or obscene gestures, including using language or gestures concerning a person’s race, ethnicity, color, gender, religion, creed, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression or national origin; or instigating, inciting or encouraging a confrontation or physical contact.
    • Interfering with any ongoing event, business activity or the enjoyment of others.
    • Engaging in public intoxication.
    • Verbally or physically harassing any guests or staff.
    • Advertising or selling goods or services.
    • Displaying signs, symbols, or images of a political nature.
    • Smoking or vaping. Gillette Stadium is a non-smoking facility.
    • Unauthorized transmission of accounts or descriptions of the game or event, including play-by-play data.
    • Violating the terms of any applicable admission ticket license, policy or related laws.
    • Declining to promptly return a ball that enters the stands.
    • Failing to follow instructions of security personnel or law enforcement.

    Patrons and their guests who violate these provisions will be ejected without refund and also may lose ticket privileges for future events. We thank you for adhering to our Code of Conduct.

  • Alcohol Policy

    Fans who consume alcohol are encouraged to drink responsibly.

    • You must be 21 years of age or older to purchase alcohol.
    • The only IDs accepted at Gillette Stadium are valid, non-expired driver’s licenses, and Government-issued state identification cards, passports or Military IDs showing picture and a birthdate.
    • Duplicate and expired licenses, liquor IDs, birth certificates, police badges, or any other forms of identification are not accepted at Gillette Stadium.
    • Each person may purchase no more than two (2) alcoholic beverages at any one time.
    • All alcohol sales will be discontinued in the third quarter of Patriots games and at the conclusion of all Revolution matches.
    • Sales may be discontinued earlier at the discretion of stadium management.
    • Questions can be directed to the Guest Services booths located at mid-field on both the east and west sides of the Main and Upper Concourses.
    • Patrons younger than 25 with out of state IDs must visit one of the Guest Services booths for an ID check before purchasing alcohol.
  • Patron Screening

    Everyone who seeks admission into Gillette Stadium, including infants and small children, must have a ticket and must consent to a search of their person and anything they are carrying. Failure to consent to such search will result in denial of entry into the stadium. We ask that you cooperate fully with staff and arrive at the entrances with adequate time for entry.

    Gillette Stadium has implemented EVOLV Express Systems, a weapons detection technology that provides for faster and more convenient security screening by not requiring fans to stop at a checkpoint.

    Items deemed inappropriate by stadium management will not be allowed in the stadium. Please review the Gillette Stadium Bag Policy and full list of prohibited items at gillettestadium.com/bagpolicy. Prohibited item(s) will not be accepted at the stadium entrances for safekeeping. Please leave all prohibited item(s) secured in your vehicle. Individuals in possession of a prohibited item(s) may be denied admission to the stadium, ejected, arrested, prosecuted, and may forfeit the privileges of the season ticket holder of record. Prohibited item(s) that are discovered in the stadium will be confiscated.

    By entering Gillette Stadium the ticket holder hereby waives any claims against the NFL, MLS, New England Patriots LLC, Kraft Soccer LLC, NPS LLC, other participating clubs, event organizers, performers and promoters, and any of their affiliates and agents. Gillette Stadium and its affiliated clubs, and its agents and affiliated entities are not responsible for injuries sustained in, on or around the stadium.

  • Fan Health Promise

    FAN HEALTH PROMISE

    Per the guidance from the CDC and State of Massachusetts face coverings, negative test results and proof of vaccination are not required to enter Gillette Stadium. However, all ticketholders must agree that neither they nor their guests will attend an event if they have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 10 days or experienced symptoms of COVID-19 within 48 hours prior to the event. All ticket holders also agree to follow all applicable CDC guidance in effect on event day, including guidance on when to quarantine and wear a mask, and what steps to take when you have been exposed to COVID-19.
