I almost started this article with, “Well it’s that time of year again,” except… aren’t we a little early??
Anyway, that time of year is “Abandoned Stores Turn Into Spirit Halloweens”… time… of year. Eh! You know what I’m saying. And it’s already begun! To the tune of 14 Spirit Halloweens already being open in Massachusetts! From the time they opened (August 3rd) that gives you almost 3 full months to get your Halloween costume and decor in order.
My family loves going to Spirit Halloween. And we know we could just shop online but there’s something much more special and Halloweenie walking into an actual brick and mortar store and checking out all the plastic ghouls, Styrofoam tombstones, and fake spider web in person. I just think this might be the first year Spirit Halloween got a jump on the big box stores and all those drug store and grocery store Halloween candy isles.
If you’re already thinking of posting your meme or GIF of the dancing pumpkin-headed man in the black tights then this is info you crave like candy corn on Christmas day. So let’s give you the rundown. Below I will give you the addresses of all 14 Spirit Halloweens that are already open right now in Massachusetts. One Spirit Halloween is popping up for the first time in a location that definitely stings a bit for me personally as I LOVE seeing this landmark every time I drive on Cape Cod – many times just stopping with the family to browse on our way to Cape beaches.
