When you post pictures of your pup on Instagram, do you hastag the breed of your fur baby? Apparently, many dog owners do this. In fact, the animal information website, WhatAnimalsEat.com, has compiled the information for a new study, using hastag analysis to come up with the list. The total posts from the hashtags they used were gathered on October 31st of this year.
The full list from the study includes the 50 most Instagrammable dog breeds, but here you will find the top 25. The founder of the website, Elina Agnati, said, “What’s interesting with this finding is that it’s actually the Labrador Retriever breed that is the most common dog to own. So you would naturally expect that to also be the most Instagrammed dog type. But Labrador Retrievers is just the 14th most popular dog on Instagram in our study, showing that they’re just not as Instagrammable as the Frenchies.”
As you may have guessed from the above statement, French Bulldogs came in at #1 on this study. #frenchbulldog leads the pack of the most posted of the popular breeds, totaling 36,698,679 posts. Not far behind, is #chihuahua with the 2nd most hastags, at 33,812,271 posts. Take a look and find your breed here!
