Boston 25’s Daniel Miller & Wiggy Take a Tour Around Eastie
Boston 25 Morning News is on the road for our 15th season of Zip Trips! Come join us at East Boston Memorial Park (143 Porter Street, 02128) on Friday, August 10th from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.
The Boston 25 Morning News team has visited more than 235 cities and towns during the long-running Zip Trips. Boston 25 News anchors Daniel Miller, Elizabeth Hopkins, Sports Anchor Tom Leyden and Meteorologist Shiri Spear will host the East Boston live broadcast.
“Zip Trips have become a staple of summer and one of our favorite parts of the job,” said Hopkins.
Neighbors, residents and kids of all ages are invited to share their “Eastie Pride” and be part of Boston 25’s live audience. The festival-like atmosphere includes free activities for kids, games, refreshments and fun.
“It’s great to bring my forecast and our show on the road,” Spear added. “Meeting the people and hearing about what makes their hometown a great place to live is a highlight for me.”
Interviews with East Boston newsmakers, special guests, hometown teams and local heroes will be featured along with visits from local eateries. Attendees are encouraged to bring a box of healthy cereal to benefit the Crossroads Family Center.
Boston 25 Morning News will make Zip Trip stops in Billerica on 8/17 at Parker Elementary School and Duxbury High School on 8/24.
