6-Year Old Cancer Patient Designs A Special Bag To Raise Money For The Jimmy Fund! (VIDEO)
HEMET, CA - MARCH 16: California poppies (R) and Canterbury bells bloom after prolonged record drought gave way to heavy winter rains, causing one of the biggest wildflower blooms in years on March 16, 2017 at Diamond Valley Lake, near Hemet, California. The winter storms brought relief to most of the region suffering years of worsening record drought conditions though aquifers remain very low and would require many more years of heavier than average rainfall to recharge water tables to pre-drought levels. I know what I’m doing this weekend… going to HomeGoods to buy one of 6-year old Maddie Alexander’s beautiful flower shopping bags! Here’s why you should too…
According to WCVB-TV, Maddie Alexander is a 6-year old pediatric cancer patient at Dana Farber. She was chosen to design a reusable shopping bag for the 19th annual “HomeGoods Helps Families Fight Cancer” campaign. HomeGoods will be donating half of the proceeds from every purchase of Maddie’s bag directly to the Jimmy Fund until June 26th. You will also be able to make a donation to the Jimmy Fund at the register. Check out this adorable, brave girl and the beautiful bag she designed…
