Robin Roberts Receives The “Sager Strong” Award At The 2019 NBA Awards! (VIDEO)

Good Morning America’s Robin Roberts is one of my favorite people in the world! Last night she received the 2019 Sager Strong Award at the 2019 NBA Awards ceremony.
According to the NBA, this award, “named for iconic Turner Sports sideline reporter Craig Sager, is presented annually to an individual who has been a trailblazer while exemplifying courage, faith, compassion and grace. The award is bestowed upon the recipient in the form of a colorful suit jacket, a replica of the one worn by Sager during his unforgettable ‘Time is simply how you live your life’ speech in 2016.”
She spoke of fond memories of Craig Sager during her acceptance speech and talked about a message that her mother always used to say, “Everybody’s got something. Make your mess your message.”
