Jay Z and Beyonce have been catching heat for sitting during the national anthem at the Superbowl. So much that it caught Colin Kaepernick’s attention. Kaep, who started kneeling during the national anthem to protest police brutality in 2016, called out Jay and Bey in one of his recent Instagram Stories.
“I thought we were ‘past kneeling’ tho”
Kaep is referring to Jay Z’s interview after partnering with the NFL when he said “I think we’ve moved past kneeling. I think it’s time for action.”
