Ever since the death of Naya Rivera, her ex Big Sean says he’s been getting a lot of questions about his song “IDFWU” which he released back in 2015 and many say was written about her after their breakup.
In a new interview with Vulture, Big Sean says the song wasn’t a diss track toward Naya adding “It wasn’t a diss to her…I truly made the song and played it for her. She knew about it, and she liked it.” Sean says he was truly hurt knowing people thought the song was about her. He then went on to say if he knew something this tragic was gonna happen to Naya, he would never have written the song in the first place adding that “We had a breakup that was very public, and we were young and we forgave each other and moved on from that.”
