Over the weekend, retired Boston Celtics legend PAUL PIERCE went live on Instagram. He was at a house party of some kind, with dancing, smoking, drinking, and . . . barely clothed EXOTIC DANCERS. That kind of thing isn’t UNPRECEDENTED for Instagram Live . . . but it was too much for Paul’s employer, ESPN, which is owned by Disney. Yesterday, they fired him. He had been a central piece of “NBA Countdown”, and he had also appeared on other shows like “The Jump”. Paul is taking it in stride. He posted a video of himself chuckling . . . and he captioned it, quote, “Big things coming soon, stay tuned. Make sure u smile #TruthShallSetUFree.”
