Mattel’s Great Idea For Purging Your Kid’s Toys
Love this idea! If you’re looking to get rid of some of your kid’s toys, don’t throw them in the trash. Mattel has launched a new program to recycle old Mattel toys for future Mattel products. Mattel Playback has a goal of using 100% recycled, recyclable, or bio-based plastic materials in all products and packaging by 2030. To participate in the program, go online and print a free shipping label. They’re currently accepting Barbie, Matchbox, and Mega toys. Other brands will be added in the future.
Here’s more on the program…
Boston has been waking up to the voice of Pebbles for years. She has always had a deep and strong commitment to the community, donating her time to numerous organizations such as the Girl Scouts, First Book Boston, and more. With a passion for youth literacy, she started the program “Pebbles Reading Rockstars” to encourage kids to read more and develop a love of books. A graduate of Northeastern University, the Wareham native continues to visit classrooms as part of the literacy program. Pebbles likes to write about books, personal stories, good news, and self-care.
