Today is 4/20, here are all of the events around Boston where you can celebrate
Today is the day for weed smokers to celebrate. The actual holiday started in the 70s when a group of high schoolers in California would gather around the wall by their school everyday at 4:20pm to smoke. The ritual caught on and they were given the nickname 420. While 18 states have legalized marijuana it is still illegal on the federal level. In honor of the day there will be celebrations and rallies all over the United States. Here in Boston, there are several events going on where you can celebrate the holiday.
