Bigger, Better And Blingier: Boston’s Festive Snowport Is Back!

Boston is ready to bling it up! The annual holiday winter wonderland will light up the Seaport District in Boston starting next week. This year promises to be bigger, better and more bedazzled. The Holiday Market at Snowport is back with over 120 vendors, plus numerous attractions, games, dining, holiday decor and more. According to WCVB TV, who spoke with the organizer, WS Development, the holiday market will double in size this year. Plus,there will be a “10,000-square-foot outdoor dining space with 19 vendors, a heated tent for seating and a ski-themed lounge.”

It all starts on Friday, November 11, and here you will find more details on timing, what to expect and special events. Although, the weather hasn’t given us the holiday feels yet, you know it’s sure to change. Snowport transports the Seaport into a magical wintery attraction. It’s sure to warm our holiday hearts, and providing a unique shopping and festive experience.

  • Dates, Hours and Address

    According to Boston Uncovered, Snowport will be open 7 days a week, with the following schedule

    Dates and Hours

    November 11-December 11:

    Monday-Thursday 3-8pm

    Friday- Saturday: 11am -9pm

    Sunday: 11am- 8pm

    December 12-December 31 (Extended Hours):

    Sunday- Thursday: 11am-8pm

    Friday- Saturday: 11am-9p

  • Highlight Events

    Some special highlight events this year, as reported to WCVB, inclue a 25 foot interactive chalkboard for kids to share their wishes. a 10 foot mistletoe archway, }Dinos in Space,” which is  pop-up exhibit from the Boston Children’s Museum, and the return of iceless curling and giant classic games.

    The big tree lighting ceremony is happening on December 2 on the Seaport Common, while the menorah lighting will take place on December 22 at at One Seaport Courtyard.

  • The Holiday Market

    Get ready for bigger, better and blingier! As resported by Boston Uncovered, this year’s market will be host to over 120 small businesses, which is twice as many as last year. Most of the vendors will be local, and in fact, according to a press release shared to Boston Uncovered, “66% of the businesses are local and 76% are minority or female-owned.”

    • Candles by Mo&Co Home

    • Chocolates made in Truro by Chequessett Chocolate
    • Hot chocolate with chocolate truffles by The Fat Cactus
    • Irish trinkets from The Irish Spirit
    • Winter Apparel made in Boston by Wears Woody
