There will be numerous places to see fireworks on Cape Cod.
Whether you are a resident, or a tourist, here are all of the towns on Cape Cod with fireworks displays.
Baby you're a firework! That's a Katy Perry song, but it's also a perfect song to get us all fired up for July 4th. Because who doesn't like fireworks?!

Fireworks displays will be in full effect this year on Cape Cod.
July 4th is actually my favorite holiday of the year because I love the experience of watching those big, magical firework explode into the sky. My family and I would always go up to Portsmouth, NH to watch the display, but you might be traveling south across the Borne or Sagamore.
If you are traveling to Cape Cod this holiday weekend, here are all of the towns holding firework displays. These towns do it UP. They will have live music from various bands. Some of the towns will have food trucks. Other towns will have activities for kids before the big firework event. Pack up the cars and pack up the kids and visit one of these locations for an epic night of "oooo's" and "ahhh's."

Last summer I saw fireworks from Dennisport. It was a gorgeous view don't ya think?
If You Have Dogs
Many people bring their dogs to firework displays, but my sister is a Veterinarian and she suggests leaving your dog at home. Remember when John Osborne of Brother's Osborne's dog escaped from their house because their dog was scared of the fireworks? We don't want that for your pup. So, leave them at the cottage with a nice blanket and a bowl of water. When you return, just give them lots of belly rubs and they'll forgive you.
If You Have Kids
Definitely bring your kids to the fireworks displays! I still remember going with my parents to watch the fireworks. It was so fun! As a new mom myself, my only advice would be to try and get your kids a nap before you go. No matter what, it's going to be a late night. Some displays don't begin until 9:30 or 10:00pm!
It also might be worth bringing noise-cancelling ear protectors if you have a little one. Those fireworks can be LOUD! If you don't have a pair, here's an Amazon link to help you out. If you have Amazon Prime they might show up before you head out.

Whenever I bring my son out to big events that I know are going to be loud, I bring his noise protecting earmuffs. These are a game changer!
