So no one has been paying attention to this potential new couple. Rumor coming from The Sun is that former New England Patriot wide receiver Julian Edelman is dating Shakira. Let's take a deep dive into the validity of these rumors.
The story was published in The Sun yesterday (2/13) and there is one piece of photo evidence. Edelman and Shakira together at her 47th birthday party recently. Witnesses say Julian had his hands all over her while the picture was taken. Now this seems to be the only piece of evidence but it was enough for fans of both stars to speculate. This would be the first relationship for Shakira since her awful split from her ex Gerard Pique who coincidentally is the same age as Julian. In case you're wondering, Julian has a 7 year old daughter and Shakira has 2 kids that she shares with Pique.
Now we know that simply taking a photo together by no means qualifies for them being in a relationship but we can only wonder.
