R. Kelly Ignores Lawsuit Because He Can’t Read
R Kelly has actually caught a break from the judge in one of his sexual abuse lawsuit. A judgement had been filed against him because he failed to show up for a court date back in April, but his lawyers argued he didn’t show up cause he couldn’t read the papers he was served with. So what does that mean for Kelly? The judgment is actually a good thing because now, instead of losing the suit by default for not showing up, the judge has granted him a new court date where he can actually fight the suit. This particular suit was filed by Heather Williams who accused Kelly of abusing her when she was 16 years old.
