It’s Coming!!! We have a date for Hamilton The Movie!
I was able to see Hamilton when it came to Boston, and it was one of the greatest things I’ve experienced in my life. I still get chills when I think about it or play the soundtrack. The Boston cast was so incredible, I always wondered what it would have been like to see the original cast. Well wonder no more!
Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda made the announcement saying that the Hamilton film is coming to Disney+ on July 3rd. The show was filmed live on stage with the original cast at the Richard Rogers Theatre in 2016.
The original Broadway cast appearing in the film include Tony Award® winners Lin-Manuel Miranda as Alexander Hamilton; Daveed Diggs as Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson; Renée Elise Goldsberry as Angelica Schuyler; Leslie Odom, Jr. as Aaron Burr; Tony Award® nominees Christopher Jackson as George Washington; Jonathan Groff as King George; Phillipa Soo as Eliza Hamilton; and Jasmine Cephas Jones as Peggy Schuyler/Maria Reynolds; Okieriete Onaodowan as Hercules Mulligan/James Madison; and Anthony Ramos as John Laurens/Philip Hamilton.
