Easy Backyard Improvements for the Summer

Summer’s finally here and you’ll be spending more time outside. Thinking of sprucing the backyard up a bit?

Here are some easy and affordable changes that’ll keep you from ever wanting to go inside.

• Build a Firepit

• Get Some Beanbag Chairs

  You can always use more seating in your backyard, and these are comfortable and on budget. Just remember to place them at least 6 feet apart. Social distancing, am I right?

• Hang Up a Hammock

  The ultimate in cheap relaxation. Got two trees? You're good to go. If not, they sell frames too. Only other question you have to ask yourself.. rope netting or canvas style?
• Hang Some Wind Chimes

  We're on the Zen path again. Anything more peaceful than reading a book while your wind chimes sound and the fountain bubbles? We didn't think so.

• Scatter Wildflower Seeds and Watch Them Grow

  Plants & flowers are another economical way to give your backyard some decoration. It won't be instant, but if you plant the seeds in June, you'll be reaping the rewards by August.
