Six Flags New England Is Throwing Their Largest Summer Celebration Ever
This Saturday, July 1, Six Flags New England officially kicks off their “largest celebration ever.” As part of their Summer Nights Spectacular, the action-packed theme park won’t just hold fireworks on the 4th of July. Nine fireworks celebration nights are scheduled between now and August 25th.
Friday through Sunday on ten consecutive weekends, Six Flags will host quite a party. “When The Sun Sets, The Party Starts,” they state. It will feature live music, specialty food items, summertime games, and a fireworks finale.
The festival space in the Gotham City area of the park will hold the following fireworks schedule:
• July 1–July 4 (9:30pm)
• July 7 (9:00pm)
• July 14 (9:00pm)
• July 21 (9:00pm)
• July 28 (9:00pm)
• August 4 (9:00pm)
• August 11 (9:00pm)
• August 20 (9:00pm)
• August 25 (9:00pm)
The fireworks can be seen from anywhere in the park, however.
Other Party Details
If just sitting and watching the fireworks display is not enough action for you, there will be additional options. A live DJ will spin summer hits in Gotham City from 5 pm until close. Also in this area, the Six Flags Fun Squad will host various competitive games, like a water balloon toss and hula hoop competition.
Moreover, the celebration is for the whole family. A kid’s rave in Gotham City will start at 6 pm. The Fun Squad hosts a dance party full of beats and bubbles for children of all ages.

Six Flags currently has one day remaining on their big summer sale. This offers a free upgrade to the platinum level pass. When you buy the Gold pass ($70) you are automatically upgraded to platinum, which includes a parking pass and entrance into Hurricane Harbor New England.
