Well it was his appearance on CNN that had a lot of people cringing and wondering what the heck was going on.
Cam'ron on CNN
The headlines have been buzzing ever since the video came out of Diddy beating Cassie in a hotel from 2016. And since then, lots of Diddy's associates have been asked their thoughts. CNN decided to get in on the action and asked Cam'ron to appear on NewsNight with Abby Phillip. The entire clip was over 3 minutes long and it included Abby asking Cam'ron a lot of questions about Diddy and the incident. Including 'Do you recognize the man in that video?' Cam'ron didn't appreciate that question very much and became visibly agitated.
Cam'ron gets frustrated, ends interview
After 3 minutes of questions about Diddy, Cam'ron decides to take matters into his own hands and promote his PinkHorsePower drink. The drink is supposed to increase sex drive and from what Cam says after taking his shot: 'sorry, I'm gonna' go get some cheeks after this horse power drink.' From there, the interview just gets more and more cringe. He goes on to say 'Who's the talent agent for this joint? You think I be sitting around watching what Diddy do? I didn't know this was a Diddy joint that y'all invited me to. Who booked me for this joint?'

Diddy issues apology for beating Cassie. If you were like most of the people who saw the gruesome surveillance video that was released to CNN Friday, you couldn't help but feel sorry for Cassie. Cassie of course dated Diddy from 2007 to 2018 and settled a lawsuit that accused Diddy of numerous things including abuse, violence and sex trafficking. Until now, opinions about Cassie's reason to sue and to settle have been widespread. But ever since this video has surfaced, it seems opinions have shifted.
Surveillance video shows Diddy beating Cassie
In the surveillance video from 2016 in the InterContinental Hotel in Century City, CA, Diddy is shown in a towel kicking and dragging Cassie down the hall. Cassie seems as if she was trying to leave and when she got to the elevators, Diddy is seen kicking her after shoving her to the ground. According to Cassie's lawyer: “The gut-wrenching video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr. Combs. Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms. Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this to light.”
Diddy apologizes
Since the video came to light, Diddy has issued a video statement. He calls his actions inexcusable. According to his statement: “I went and I sought out professional help. I got into going to therapy, going to rehab. I had to ask God for his mercy and grace. I’m so sorry. But I’m committed to be a better man each and every day. I’m not asking for forgiveness. I’m truly sorry.”
Ever since the video was released, celebrities and fans alike have sounded off. Opinions seem to be pretty one sided. But ultimately, no one's opinions matter besides the true victim and/or victims. Here are some of the more high profile celebrity reactions to Diddy's apology.
Emily Ratajkowski Calls Diddy A 'Monster'
Emily responded to the news that the surveillance video had just been released. She responded to a post from @PopCrave on X. Emily's response was one word: "Monster."
50 Cent calls Diddy a liar
50 Cent is a known troll. He's been very outspoken against Diddy since the allegations came out. He has posted several things on IG. This was him reposting Diddy's initial denial and writing "The lie detector test has determined this was a lie…. Maury vibes."
Cassie's husband warns abusers "You're done"
Cassie's husband Alex Fine had a message for women and children. He says he wrote the letter a while back. He says to abusers: "You're done, you're not safe anymore, you're not protected anymore. The men by your side are just as weak."
Dave Portnoy "Throw him in jail"
According to David Portnoy: “Throw Diddy in jail. Throw away the key. Throw away the key to whoever had this video and kept their mouth shut. I mean holy f–k.”
Stephen A. Smith says Diddy's career is "over"
Stephen A. addressed the Diddy video on his podcast. "Inexcusable. When you see this video...you know what you're gonna wonder? When's he getting arrested?"
Aubrey O'Day
You'll remember, Aubrey was on one Diddy's reality shows Making the Band. She was a part of his girl group Danity Kane and has been very outspoken against Diddy for a long time. She says "Diddy did not apologize to Cassie. He apologized to the world for seeing what he did. He says he’s ‘disgusted w himself now, and he was disgusted w himself then’.. but apparently he wasn’t disgusted enough w himself to not PIN this statement out calling her a liar & denying all of it.. leave god and mercy out of this, they aren’t present here, and you know it."
Cedric The Entertainer is disappointed and wonders how it will affect his children
Cedric commented on an "ET" post on IG. According to Cedric "Very disappointed by the state of our community! This video of Diddy assaulting Cassie is beyond disturbing, its deplorable and at moments downright diabolical ! As a Father to Daughters and Young Men, he must take real time to atone his and all the souls he has affected. Its the kinda damage that permeates generations."
