Revere Beach International Sand Sculpting Festival is July 22-24, 2022
After hosting a modified and scaled-back version in 2021, the Revere Beach International Sand Sculpting Festival is back in full force for 2022.
Touted as the largest free event in Massachusetts, Revere Beach Blvd is turned into a beach boardwalk and to expected host over 1 million people from Friday, July 22nd to Sunday, July 24th, as they view the intricate sand sculptures that adorn the beach.
This year’s event will be themed “Wonders of the World” and will include a centerpiece showcasing some of the world’s most famous landmarks.
In addition to 15 master sand sculptors, the Sand Sculpting Festival will feature live entertainment, food trucks, specialty food vendors, exhibitors, and amusement rides.
Dates & Times
Friday, July 22nd: 10am – 10pm
Saturday, July 23rd: 10am – 10pm
Sunday, July 24th: 10am – 8pm
How To Get There
There will be increased traffic in the surrounding area during the festival. It is easiest and fastest to get to the Festival by taking the MBTA to the Revere Beach and Wonderland T stops.
Limited parking is available at the Wonderland T Station, but using public transit is recommended.
Fireworks
The 2022 International Sand Sculpting Festival fireworks show will take place at 9 pm on Saturday, July 23rd.
