North End Italian Feast This Weekend
If your looking for something to do this weekend and your hungry. You love Italian food and going to the north end in Boston. This weekend is for you. All summer long the North End has had special events. Each event is centered on food. Bostoncentral.com has posted the events happening this weekend. I checked the weather and no rain and going to be sunny and warm in the city of Boston. The list is below:
August 18, 19, 20 & 21, 2022 (Thu – Sun) – ‘Fisherman’s Feast’ of the Madonna Del Soccorso di Sciacca
The Fisherman’s Feast is an annual event that began in Boston in 1911 and is based on a tradition that goes back to the 16th century in Sciacca Sicily.
Thursday, 6pm, Blessing of the Fishing Waters to Christopher Columbus Park
Feast opens at 6:00 pm on Friday; 12pm-11pm Sat. & Sun. Fleet, Lewis & North Streets
Sunday 1:00 pm Grand Procession starts; 8:00 pm Flight of the Angel

The website indicates that there will be vendors and different types of entertainment. If you have nothing else going on this weekend take a trip to the North End. Be aware the Orange line is shutdown for 30 days which started yesterday.
