If you don’t remember Will Smith’s video apology check it out below.
Chris Rock came out on stage and said “f*ck your hostage video.” This was according to Deadline.com. Will Smith posted this video in July which was 3 months after the slap occurred. In a pervious comedy show. Chris Rock mentioned how hard the slap felt. “Yes that sh*t hurt. He played Ali. I can’t even play Floyd Mayweather.” Ok, that is a very funny line.
Chris Rock called Will Smith “Suge Smith.” This was a reference to the Death Row Records music executive, who is currently in jail serving a 28-year jail sentence for voluntary manslaughter. After mentioning Will Smith, Chris Rock made jokes about Trumps’ election and the Kardashian family.
Dave Chappelle followed Chris Rock and he talked about being attacked in Los Angles. Chappelle stated that he was wary of “performing on stage because he can no longer tell whether the crowd will be hostile.” According to Deadline.com, Dave Chappelle stated “That was some scary sh*t.”
Later in the comedy set, Chappelle wasn’t sure how to react if he got slapped on stage like Chris Rock. Dave Chappelle talked about the police and the walkout for Netflix employees last year. Chappelle called Will Smith a impersonator. Chappelle stated, “did an impression of a perfect man for 30 years. I just hope he doesn’t put that mask back on,”
