Red Sox Manager Alex Cora Travels To Puerto Rico To Bring Hurricane Relief! (VIDEO)
While the focus this week is on the Patriots and the “Big Game”, Red Sox Manager Alex Cora is doing big things in Puerto Rico!
Alex Cora, who is from Puerto Rico and still lives there during the off-season, was joined by Red Sox President and CEO Sam Kennedy and Boston Marty Walsh. Yesterday, they delivered almost 10 tons of supplies for the ongoing relief efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria with the help of JetBlue. Red Sox catcher Christian Vazquez, pitcher Chris Sale and Caguas Mayor William Miranda Torres were on hand when they arrived in Puerto Rico. Alex Cora also made a visit to his hometown of Caguas.
Check out some of the moments from their trip…
