A retired Indian couple wants a grandchild, or else. Sanjeev Ranjan Prasad and his wife Sadhana Prasad say they can’t wait any longer for a grandchild. “We want a grandson or a granddaughter within a year or compensation, because I have spent my life’s earnings on my son’s education,” Prasad told reporters on Thursday. He paid for his son to become a pilot and feels because he got his son married six years ago, he owes him a grandchild. “We got him married in the hope we would have the pleasure of becoming grandparents. It has been six years since their marriage,” Prasad said. “It feels as if despite having everything we have nothing.” A hearing is set for today. The couple is suing for $675,000.
