If you’re a Johnny Depp fan, chances are you were all excited at yesterday’s news that he may be back to reprise his role as Captain Jack Sparrow. News that Johnny signed a $301 million deal to come back to the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise broke and was a big shock since there was a previous rumor that Margot Robbie was set to take over the starring role in the franchise since Johnny was having his legal issues. Well I hate to ruin your Tuesday but word is, it’s NOT true. A source close to Johnny came forward yesterday saying the news was made up, it’s NOT happening. Although Page Six heard that too but they’re still saying they think it could be true because neither an actual rep for Johnny nor a rep for Disney could clarify. You can see Page Six’s report HERE
