Bill Belichick and his long time girlfriend Linda Holliday have broken up. There have been rumors of the two splitting for the past year. Linda, who is very open about sharing any and all details about her relationship with Bill, has not posted ANYTHING with him in quite some time. Her last post WITH Bill was Valentine’s Day of 2022 although she does have a post of Bill and his foundation from March of this year. So what exactly happened between the two?
As of this morning, the reason for the break up is unclear. What we DO know, is that according to Page Six, the two have had a back and forth over their break up for the past year. And word is, Linda is still living in Bill’s Nantucket home despite the break up. What’s also making it awkward is, Linda heads up his Bill Belichick Foundation AND word is Patriots execs are worried about what Linda may share on social media now that news of the split is out. Neither Bill nor Linda have commented on the story.
So what does this mean for Bill Belichick as he’s about to begin another season as head coach of the New England Patriots? That has yet to be seen as this will be his first season without Linda since 2007. Will his new found bachelor status affect his ability to coach? With a man like Bill, you’d like to believe he’s all business and he’ll be just fine. But then again, Linda was his rock for a long time, so you really never know.
