Lil’ Wayne fans were left stunned and disappointed over the weekend after he showed up late AND cut his set short. Lil’ Wayne walks off the stage in LA. He was performing at The Wiltern Theatre in Koreatown for a packed crowd AND there were fans watching a live stream that they paid $15 for. The show was supposed to start at 9pm, Lil’ Wayne didn’t appear on stage until after 10pm. Wayne finally came out wearing a Kobe Bryant Lakers jersey and he did perform some of his songs. He started his set with “Mr. Carter” and then performed songs like “Fireman,” “Hustler Musik,” “Drop the World,” “BM J.R.,” “Let the Built Build,” “I’m Single,” “Love Me,” and “Lollipop.” It was in the middle when he brought out three of his new Young Money artists Lil Twist, Yaj Kader, and Allan Cubas. However, Wayne apparently didn’t appreciate the energy the crowd was giving his artists so he came on stage and ended the show.

It was then the lights inside the venue came on and it was then the crowd knew the show was over. People immediately started posting on social media how upset they were about Wayne canceling the show. Some were asking for refunds. Some said they’d never go to a Lil’ Wayne show again. Some even went to far as to say they had no idea who Wayne’s artists were, explaining it’s hard to get excited about artists you know nothing about. Regardless of the reasons people were upset, it seems as if Wayne has yet to comment on his cancelation. His last tweet was on May 1. His last IG post was in back in January so he’s completely disappeared at this point. We’ve compiled a list of some of the most outrageous fan tweets. These fans were at the show and are demanding refunds or just expressing outrage.
