Roast ‘affected my kids’

Tom Brady sat down for an interview on “The Pivot” and said when the jokes were all about him, he loved it. But that “I didn’t like the way that it affected my kids.” He added that it was a bitter sweet moment because it was so fun but that knowing how much it affected the people he cared about most in the world, he’d never do it again.

Tom will be a better parent because of it

Tom says that back during “deflategate” he would watch only three things: soccer, golf and comedy shows. He adds that every time he’d turn on sports, they’d be talking about him and he was sick of it. He says it was a lesson for him doing the roast because he loves that everyone had fun but hates how his kids felt. Overall though, he says if you’re not laughing you’re crying so it’s always good to make fun of yourself from time to time.

In regards to his kids, Tom didn’t elaborate as to which part of the roast affected them the most. One can only speculate it was the jokes about his divorce and Gisele.   Nikki Glaser was one of if not the highlight from the roast. In this clip, she mocks Tom’s crypto loss AND Gronk at the same time. It’s this joke that solidified Nikki as one of the best roasters of the night.

• Kim Kardashian got booed

  Many didn’t understand why Kim Kardashian was even there. And when she walked up to the podium, you heard the boo birds come out. Kevin Hart tried to drown it out but it didn’t work.

• Bill Belichick pokes fun at Tom Brady's relationship with Alex Guerrero

  Tom Brady and Alex Guerrero have a great friendship and working relationship. It was rumored Alex was booted from the sidelines of games because Bill resented Alex working with Tom and other Patriots players. Here, Bill pokes fun at that.

• Sam Jay pokes fun at any player who won a Super Bowl ring with Tom Brady

  Sam Jay says the players only had a ring because of Tom. She goes on to say it reminds her of a certain sex toy. This joke is NSFW so proceed with caution.
