Massachusetts has added 35,000 new COVID-19 vaccination appointments to the state’s booking website, the COVID-19 Command Center announced Thursday.
As of Wednesday, residents over the age of 75 were eligible to book an appointment with some beginning on Monday, February 1st. However, there was a lot of frustration over the Phase 2 rollout from residents who were not able to get through or find any available appointments.
According to a report by MassLive, another 15,000 appointments were made available in Springfield and Danvers on Thursday. In addition, another 20,000 appointments were also made available at Gillette Stadium and Fenway Park.
