Gillette Stadium Officially Opens as State’s First Mass COVID-19 Vaccination Site
After a soft launch last week, Gillette Stadium in Foxborough officially opened for vaccinations on Monday, January 18th. The distribution site was announced by Governor Charlie Baker last Tuesday. Right now, it is aiming for at least 300 vaccinations a day, but has plans to increase to thousands. It is currently scheduling appointments for anyone who is eligible for Phase 1, including healthcare workers, first responders, and nursing home residents.
