The Super Bowl is this coming Sunday and you can now place bets on it in Massachusetts. While most betting people will place wagers on things like winner, loser, score, points against the spread etc, there are several other types of bets that are allowed. These bets are called prop bets. Prop bets can be anything from the length of the National Anthem to the color of gatorade that will be dumped on the winning coach to betting that a player will propose when the game is over. The exact definition of a “prop bet” is: “a bet made regarding the occurrence or non-occurrence during a game of an event not directly affecting the game’s final outcome.”
Every year, there are several and some that are more popular than others. We are putting together a list of some of our favorites. Once you choose which prop bet you’d like to wager on, head to your local sports book and throw down some money. You’re welcome!
