Are you a UFO fan? Do you believe there are other beings living outside of earth? You are not alone. Thousands of people nationwide believe in UFOs, aliens and other living beings outside of our planet. The latest season of Unsolved Mysteries will prove that to you. There is a website, lawnlove.com, who has put together a list of the top states in the country for UFO fans. Not only did the website comb the country for UFO sightings, X-files, data, air force base listing and more to come up with this list but they also looked into UFO clubs, conventions, and other factors that indulge the most avid UFO enthusiasts.
In the rankings, these are the categories measured: Total Score, UFO sightings, community rank, sighting potential rank and entertainment rank. Each of the states were ranked and given a score. Before we let you know where Massachusetts landed, let’s take a look at some of the UFO activity in this state. The first documented UFO sighting happened over Boston in 1639. Massachusetts Bay Colony cofounder and governor John Winthrop recorded a secondhand observation of unidentified objects in the sky over Boston. Now, let’s take a look at the rankings for UFO enthusiasts in each state. Massachusetts is in the top half of this list. While many sightings are “easily explained away as military tests, weather balloons, or other terrestrial activity,” some are still a mystery.
