Maple Leafs Fans Angry With Drake For Showing Up To Game
Toronto loves Drake. But they also love their Maple Leafs. And when the Leafs are in the playoffs, there’s no time for curses. But the 416 rapper has proven time and time again that he’s a bad luck charm for any team he watches from the stands.
Taking to social media, Leafs fans called out Drake for cheering on the hometown heroes at the Scotiabank Arena both during and after Wednesday night’s loss to the Boston Bruins.
“Ban @Drake from any #Leafs game ever again,” wrote user smithdanielj, while Andrew Wadden noted, “No wonder the Leafs are losing. The walking sports curse Drake is at the game!”
Charlie Lucia wrote, “Leafs lost tonight because @Drake was at the game with the jersey on stop your curse,” who probably hopes the damage doesn’t carry over to Game 5 on Friday night.
