Good News – Middle School in Milford Spreads Kindness
There was a time when writing on the bathroom walls at school could get you in trouble, but not at one school in Milford. About 25 students at the Stacey Middle School spent three days over their holiday vacation painting inspirational messages in all 10 bathrooms in the school. Some of the messages they painted, “In a world where you can be anything, be kind,” and “Be somebody who makes everybody feel like somebody.” Celeste Salley, the school’s health and wellness teacher says that the project sees art as a way of reinforcing positive mental wellness on a daily basis.
