D’Angelo’s “friends” for his “Verzuz” live from the Apollo included Method Man and H.E.R.!
This wasn’t your usual “Verzuz” battle between two artists. D’Angelo, who was fully clothed in his full-length black faux-fur coat, had the night to himself at the Apollo.
He had special guests join him on stage like Method Man and Redman as well as H.E.R., who told D’Angelo that she was his biggest fan and he reciprocated the love before they performed “Nothing Even Matters,” Lauryn Hill’s throwback song that features D’Angelo. That was a cool collabo!
