Boston is the city most likely to survive a zombie apocalypse. This is according to Career Builder. For whatever reason, the site does this study. Now, the last time we can find that this study was done was in 2016 so this is the latest data. Career Builder scored each city on 8 different factors in four categories. The categories are: “defense against the virus, ability to contain the virus, chances of finding a cure and likelihood to outlast the epidemic with an ample food supply.” Remember this list was from 2016 so this was pre pandemic. Things may have changed.

Examples of this is that in September of 2022, another study was done. This study was done by Lawn Love. They compared 200 of the U.S. cities and how it is prepared in specific categories such as the share of the living population in poor health and access to “bunkers,” hunting-gear stores, and supermarkets. In this study, Boston did not place in the top 10. As a matter of fact, Boston fared in the bottom coming in at #156 out of 200. Let’s not look into this study. We want to think that the 2016 study from Career Builder is more accurate. So we will dive deep into that one with the hopes that if something were to go down this Halloween, we’ll be okay.

We will count down the top #15.
