Tom Brady had a retirement party recently and it was quite the star studded, fun filled event. Tom posted a video recap of the event which looked like it was an all day affair that included half naked beach football, Gronk drunk dancing, cake, partying and so much more. Tom of course retired (for the second time) back in February after 22 seasons in the NFL. Tom posted a video to his social media accounts saying “I won’t be long-winded. You only get one super-emotional retirement essay, and I used mine up last year.” He captioned the post: “I love my family. I love my teammates. I love my friends. I love my coaches. I love football. I love you all. I am truly grateful on this day. Thank you.”

You’ll remember three weeks ago, Tom had posted a video on IG of him playing football on the beach with Gronk, Edelman and more. At the time, we had no idea what this was. We all just assumed it was an end of the season get together with friends. It turns out this was indeed Tom’s retirement party. He posted another video to his IG yesterday. This one was a recap of that entire day. From the beach football, to the actual party (which looked like it may have been a surprise), to Gronk’s toast, to the cake. It was certainly the star studded affair. There was one noticeably absent person however. That of course was Tom’s ex wife Gisele, although I’m not sure who would have expected her to be there. Regardless of who was there or not, it certainly looked like a fun event and fantastic send off for the greatest NFL player of all time. Here are some highlights and what we know about Tom Brady’s retirement party.

• It looks like the day started with some golf

  Tom, Gronk, Edelman and more played some golf. Some were more successful than others with Gronk getting a nice shot and Edelman losing his club.

• The boys moved onto half naked beach football

  Tom Brady and the rest of the boys moved onto half naked beach football. It resembled a scene from Top Gun: Maverick.

• Gronk even had a GRONK SPIKE during the game.

  Gronk must’ve had a nice play and threw down one of his infamous GRONK SPIKES.

  Rob Gronkowski, Julian Edelman and more athletes came out to celebrate Tom Brady finally hanging up his jersey.

• Tom and the boys went on a boat ride.

  Tom took his friends on a boat ride in what appears to be a Florida location.

  "Grateful to have the chance to celebrate such an amazing life on and off the field with friends and family," Brady captioned his party recap video.

• At night, the party really began

  Tom is seen partying and dancing it up with guests that also included his family (mom, dad and sisters)

  Here’s the cake. It included two helmets: a Patriots helmet and a Buccs helmet and a football.

  This might be the biggest indication that says Tom Brady is retired, with no hint of a return to NFL action

   

• Gronk gave a heartfelt speech

  During Gronk’s speech, he said  “You are a special guy. Thank you for everything. Thank you for showing me the ropes.”

• Who was on the guest list?

  Brady’s family was present including his dad, mom, sisters and son Jack. Gronk and his girlfriend Camille were also there along with Julian Edelman and others.

  From the looks of it, Gronk had a blast!

• Tom posted a video recap
