Mary J. Blige Talks To Robin Roberts About The Importance Of Music During The Coronavirus Crisis (VIDEO)
Two of my favorite women, Mary J. Blige and Robin Roberts, had a video chat on “Good Morning America” about music’s “healing power” and its importance during this difficult time.
Mary J. Blige explained to Robin Roberts her thoughts on the power of music during the coronavirus pandemic:
“Music has so much healing power. Every time I speak to one of my fans they tell me how my music is healed them or helped them through college or helped them through a bad marriage so it has all this power to just help us… healing, get through things and it takes us somewhere else.
Every time I listen to music, it takes me somewhere else. It helps me get where I am at the present moment. If it’s a bad time, it helps me to forget, if it’s a bad time it helps me to heal, you know, if it’s a good time, it helps me to party so… music is the healer right now for a lot of us.”
