Massachusetts 15th Worst State for Drivers In the Country
Buckle up, Bay Staters, contrary to the rumors, there are 14 states worse for drivers than us.
According to a new survey from Bankrate, Massachusetts is the 15th worst state for drivers in the nation.
To find the best and worst states for drivers, the financial site analyzed cost, safety, driving quality and weather in each state.
Overall, the best states for drivers are generally found in the Midwest. The worst states for drivers are consistently some of the most expensive states for car insurance and gas in the country.
The worst state? California. The best was Ohio.
By the way, our neighbors to the south in Rhode Island ranked in the Top 5 for worst state for drivers. The Ocean State came in at #4.
